The Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra (CUSO), under the direction of conductor Steven Larsen, presents the visually and instrumentally spectacular Moving Pictures on Friday, February 24 in Foellinger Great Hall, Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. For this tribute to the cinema, the CUSO unspools the classic scores of the Suite from Vertigo, Lawrence of Arabia and the National Park Suite. The second half will feature images on the big screen by local photographic artists Larry Kanfer and Karyl Wackerlin as Maestro Steven Larsen and the CUSO perform Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.  Tickets may be purchased by contacting the Krannert Center Ticket Office at (217) 333-6280.
