The first time I ever visited the I.D.E.A. Store, I have to admit, I was like a kid in a candy shop.  As a long time craft-a-holic, creating is in my blood, so walking into the I.D.E.A. Store and seeing bins upon bins of materials was amazing to me.  It was like walking into a room full of inspiration and your first instinct is to explore. 

After about five minutes of walking around, I was struck with a lightening bolt of inspiration which came in the button section.  Although mismatched, my collection of 40 buttons that I got for 44 cents work in perfect harmony together.  They are going to make wonderful personalized Christmas gifts this season and will transform simple sweaters into my own works of art as I swap out the plain buttons for my I.D.E.A. Store finds.  I absolutely cannot wait to give these gifts and I know I’m going to be brainstorming for new things I can create after this trip.  I know I’m going to be thinking of any excuse I can in order to make a trip to the I.D.E.A. Store
